Don't lick concrete

I feel like I opened a can and out poured condensed Pippi-Long Stocking. (A feeling I thought only existed in dreams)

This is a very nice melody and definitely has a sing-a-long kind of feel, its very catchy, but not in an annoying sort of way.

I would recommend making the accompanying piano have some dynamics so it follows the tune a bit more, perhaps soften them.

Also if the silence at the end was trimmed near the end, NG users could make use of this.

Very nice, high five.

Wow, thanks for the review, seeing as ive got such a good response to this i might add to it then i guess! Thanks for reviewing!

Don't eat batteries.

And sounding basic isn't bad.

Any one listening can tell that your new to making music, and it does sound as if some presets were used. Most people will tell you thats a bad thing, but as far as I'm concerned, you've done what it takes to make something appropriate to your skill level, that sounds good. Its that trait which in my mind sets apart the people who have some skill in this business from those who just throw stuff together hoping it turns out ok.

Keep it up, dabble in the world of music some more.

On a side note... Lenkobiscuits comment made me "Lol".

Torm responds:

Thank you for the positive comment, as you know i've not spend much time making music yet but I enjoyed using the program so much I'd love to practice more. I like logic pro but don't own a mac so I'd like to know what software you would recommend as a PC counterpart? Thanks.
Also on lenko's comment, he is on the same course as me at uni and is just trying to annoy me because I like NIN. lol

Cheerful fool

Bass comes in near the 2 minute mark, it could use a bit prior to that if you ask me.
I would also recommend putting some effects on the drums so that they don't scream of stock drum sounds, which can often take away from the feel of a song. Everything needs to be on one level of quality if you know what I mean, and the higher that standard, the better the song will sound overall.

Melody is quite nice, very nice, relaxing. The gated string synth near the beginning sounds a bit discordant with the rest of the song.

The saw sounds used are great / A+

5/5 to get you rolling.

Fun stuff

Well that certainly was entertaining. Audio clips are nice and clean, voices are... well frankly retarded, but I think that would be a good thing from your stand point.

Sounds like a kid cartoon.

"Is trouble brewing?"
Someone jacked a line from a video game. :P

Sure drums are nice...

But you haven't really composed a nice 'drum piece', this is just a bit of rhythm between filled out sequencers. Either tone down the ammount of drums slamming at once, or add some dynamics to them.

Not my daily cup of tea

But the ambient aspects I very much enjoy, and this has an overall feel that is far from mainstream, which I approve of. Too much regurgitated garbage nowadays, and this strays from the norm, but in a good direction of what I'll deem to be 'original'.

On a side note.. "Starts aggressive and flows into a hard finish." Sort of suggests it doesn't change. :P

Doesn't vary much

Pretty cool, feels like it could fit in a sci-fi racing game. Like most house-oriented techno though, it doesn't vary too much throughout the course of the song. The snare around 2:40 sounds like it desperately needs some dynamics, even for techno, its too robotic in my opinion, and it stuck out to me. Overall though this is really nicely put together, and its great hearing good things from FL users.

KrisSumara responds:

Yea i had some problems EQ'ing this song a bit, but i did what i can with it, im still learning how to EQ properly and how to tie all the sounds in togetther
